How to collect wedding guest photos with a QR code
Your photographer covers the big moments. Guests catch everything in between. A single QR code gives them one place to add those photos during the wedding, while the memories are still on their phones.
In practice
Example: a 120-guest reception
Create a wall named for the couple before the event. Put the QR on the welcome sign and a small card on each table. Ask the MC to mention it once after dinner. Guests scan, choose photos from their gallery or take a new one, and see the shared wall fill during the reception.
This is an illustrative setup, not a customer case study.
Set it up step by step
- 01
Create the wall before you print
Sign up, name the event, add an optional note for guests, and choose when photos should expire. Copy the guest link from your dashboard and download its QR code.
- 02
Put the QR where guests pause
Use a welcome sign, table cards, or the back of the program. Print a short instruction next to the code so guests know it is for sharing their own photos.
- 03
Test it on a phone
Scan the printed code, check that the guest page opens, and try a photo upload. If you set a guest password, include it on the card or share it directly with invitees.
- 04
Collect and download
Leave the wall open during the celebration. Afterward, open the organizer dashboard and download the photos as a ZIP before the wall expires.
Copy for a table card
Print this beside your QR code or adapt it to your invitation.
“Help us see the wedding through your eyes. Scan this code, tap From gallery or Take photo, and add your favorite moments to our shared photo wall. No app or guest account needed.”
What guests see
A guest scans the QR in their phone camera, opens the event page in a browser, and taps From gallery or Take photo. They can view the wall without creating an account. A password prompt appears first if the host chose one.

- Add a guest password if the QR will be displayed where non-guests might scan it.
- Choose an expiry that leaves enough time to collect and download photos after the wedding.
- Set a per-guest photo limit if you want to prevent one guest from filling the wall.
- Treat the guest link and password like invitation details; anyone who has them may be able to enter the wall.
After the event
The organizer can download a ZIP from the dashboard. If you want the wall to remain available until you remove it, the paid Do not delete option is available; the free plan has a shorter expiry and storage limit.
