Make a QR code for party photo uploads
Party photos often end up scattered across chats and stories. A QR photo wall gives everyone the same upload destination, even if they have never used SnapWall before.
In practice
Example: a birthday at home
Create a wall called “Nadia’s birthday,” place one QR card near the entrance and another by the food, and send the guest link to anyone who arrives late. As friends add photos, the wall becomes a shared view of the evening. The next day, download the ZIP instead of asking each person for their camera roll.
This is an illustrative setup, not a customer case study.
Set it up step by step
- 01
Create a party wall
Sign in, give the event a recognizable name, and choose an expiry. Your dashboard provides a guest link and downloadable QR code.
- 02
Share the code and one instruction
Print the QR on a card or show it on a screen. Tell guests to scan it and tap From gallery or Take photo; there is no app to install.
- 03
Keep uploads manageable
For an invite-only party, set a guest password. Pick a per-guest photo limit that suits the group, and pause uploads from the dashboard when the party ends if needed.
- 04
Save the collection
Open the host dashboard after the party, review the wall, and download the photos as a ZIP before expiry.
Copy for a party QR card
Print this beside your QR code or adapt it to your invitation.
“Got a good photo? Scan here and add it to our party wall. Choose a photo or take one now—no app or account required.”
What guests see
The QR opens the guest wall in a browser. Guests can upload JPEG, PNG, or WebP photos from their gallery, or use the camera button on a supported phone. New uploads appear on the shared wall.
Explore the sample guest wallPrivacy and access choices
- Use a guest password for a private celebration, especially if the QR appears in a public venue.
- Share the guest link only with invitees when you want to limit who can view the wall.
- Choose an expiry and download the ZIP while the photos are still available.
- The host can pause guest uploads without immediately removing the wall.
After the event
Download everything in one ZIP from the organizer dashboard. Deleting a wall frees storage when you are done; paid storage can keep a wall until you choose to delete it.
